
North Haven, CT – June 12, 2025 – The North Haven Republican Town Committee is proud to announce that Clare Cullagh, a graduating senior from North Haven High School, has been awarded the Committee’s scholarship in recognition of her outstanding dedication to education and civic engagement.
Cullagh was selected for the honor based on a compelling essay she submitted to the Scholarship Committee, which reflected her passion for community service, leadership, and her vision for an engaged citizenry. Her application stood out among several impressive submissions.
The scholarship was officially presented during the North Haven Republican Town Committee’s monthly meeting, held on Tuesday, June 10th. During the meeting, Cullagh attended as an honored guest and addressed the committee with gratitude and poise, expressing her appreciation for the support and recognition.
“We are thrilled to support Clare as she embarks on her next chapter,” said Vincenzo Gallo, Chairman of the Republican Town Committee. “Her enthusiasm for public service and education embodies the spirit of this award.”
Clare Cullagh will be attending Villanova University this fall, where she plans to further her academic and civic pursuits.
