On Friday, August 15, 2025, the Sunshine Committee of the North Haven Republican Town Committee (RTC) visited the North Haven Memorial Library and thanked the staff for their hard work, dedication and inspiration.
Together, they marked the successful conclusion of the 2025 Summer Reading Program which featured the theme of video games. It was also Library Director Sue Griffiths’ ninth anniversary with the Town of North Haven. The Sunshine Committee, chaired by RTC Vice Chair, Jenn Vanacore, provided lunch. Everyone enjoyed the opportunity to learn more about the programs and services offered by the library.
The Republican Town Committee’s Sunshine Committee continued to recognize the Town Departments that work every day to maintain and improve upon the quality of life enjoyed in North Haven. In the past, the Sunshine Committee visited the Police, Fire and Public Works Department and thanked the Town employees.
